Terms of Service

1. What Tap2Pay is
Tap2Pay (tapsii.so) provides payment pages: QR codes, NFC cards and links that open a page showing a merchant's mobile-money details and preparing the USSD code or wallet-app hand-off on the customer's own phone. Tap2Pay does not hold, transfer or process money. Every payment happens directly between the customer and the merchant through the customer's mobile-money provider (Hormuud EVC Plus, Somtel eDahab, Salaam Bank and others).
2. Merchant accounts
Merchants are responsible for the accuracy of the merchant numbers configured on their cashiers, for keeping their login credentials and staff accounts secure, and for their own tax and regulatory obligations. Subscriptions are billed per the plan selected; lapsed subscriptions suspend payment pages until renewed.
3. Acceptable use
Payment pages may only be used for lawful goods and services. We may suspend accounts used for fraud, deception, or anything illegal under Somali law, and we cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
4. Service and liability
We work to keep the service available (see our status page) but provide it "as is", without warranty. Because payments run on the mobile-money networks, we are not liable for failures, delays or disputes within those networks. Our total liability is limited to the subscription fees paid in the preceding three months.
5. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes are announced to merchants via WhatsApp or the portal at least 14 days in advance. Questions: admin@tapsii.so.
